School Transport

The school provides a comfortable and safe transport system for its students. All buses are equipped with GPS and cameras to ensure utmost care and safety of the children.

School Bus Safety Rules: Students can avail school transport on payment. The routes of the school buses are chalked out and the parents should consult the school transport in-charge for details.

Getting on the bus safely:

1. All students using the school bus are expected to be at the bus stop at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus. [The buses will not wait for late comers]
2. While waiting for the bus stay at a safe place and distance, well away from the side of the road.
3. If you have to cross the street to get on the bus, when the bus comes, wait until it has come to a complete stop.
4. Student should not come near the entry door of the bus until it has made a complete halt.
5. The front door of the bus is the only authorized entrance and exit.

Ride School bus safely:

1. All students must occupy seats immediately after boarding their buses.
2. When the bus is in motion, students should not move around in the bus and no part of their body should be outside the bus.
3. Keep aisles clear-books or bags are tripping hazards and can block the way in an emergency.
4. Students are not allowed to eat in the bus.
5. Objects of any kind should not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus.
6. Unruly behaviour like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behaviour is expected at all times.
7. The driver’s attention should not be distracted for any reason.
8. Always follow the bus driver’s instructions

Please Note:

1. The teachers travelling by the bus and student bus monitors are responsible for maintaining discipline in the buses. Any serious offence must be reported to the principal.
2. Students will be held responsible for any damage to buses caused by negligence.
3. The drivers are authorized to stop buses at the designated stops only, unless otherwise directed. The list of stops is prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commuters and is subject to change.
4. Under no circumstances will the children be allowed to get off at a bus stop other than their regular stop, or to board another bus to fulfill social engagements.
5. Transport In-charge may be contacted for any suggestion.

Special Instructions for junior children while on the road

1. Learn by heart that red means stop, green means go, also other signs often displayed on the road should be known to you.
2. First look left, then look right and then once again look left before crossing the road.
3. It is imperative to take pedestrian roads only for walking. If that’s not possible, always walk in such a way that you face the traffic so that you know when a vehicle gets close to you.
4. Children must ride only in the bicycle track, in case no such tracks are present, you should always ride left to the road. Also it should be ensured that brakes, horn, steering of your bicycles are in proper working condition.
5. While playing outdoors make sure you do not play in proximity of roads or parking lots. Do not get distracted by anything and always remain cautious.
